Monday Feb 21, 2022
Join us in person or online as we continue with our current series, A Church That. This week Henry Peterson helps us assess how we reach out to others using three parables from The Bible. What connection do we have with the lost? Who are we befriending and building with relationally? We cannot reach out to others unless we ourselves have been reached by God and experienced Him in lives first.
And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep that was lost.’ Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance. - Luke 15:6-7 (ESV)

Monday Feb 14, 2022
Monday Feb 14, 2022
Join us as we start a new series, "A Church That...". This week Pastor Neli talks to us about what it means to truly worship God. A church is not just a building. It’s who we are and Worship is more than just singing. Real worship happens in places of disappointment and trial when things don’t work out the way we want them to. Be encouraged that God is more interested in your heart rather than the notes you sing.
And he said to them, “O foolish ones, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken! Was it not necessary that the Christ should suffer these things and enter into his glory?” And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he interpreted to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning himself. - Luke 24:25-27 (ESV)

“I have manifested your name to the people whom you gave me out of the world. Yours they were, and you gave them to me, and they have kept your word. Now they know that everything that you have given me is from you. For I have given them the words that you gave me, and they have received them and have come to know in truth that I came from you; and they have believed that you sent me. - John 17:6-8 (ESV)

“I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit. - John 15:1-2 (ESV)

So Jesus said to them, “When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am he, and that I do nothing on my own authority, but speak just as the Father taught me. And he who sent me is with me. He has not left me alone, for I always do the things that are pleasing to him." As he was saying these things, many believed in him. So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” - John 8:28-32 (ESV)

Abide - The Word Feed Our Spirit
Monday Jan 17, 2022
Monday Jan 17, 2022
Join us as we continue with our current series, Abide. This week Pastor Neli compares the word of God to bread in how it can nourish and sustain us. Have you thought, If life doesn’t work out the way you want it, will you still worship God? When you consume the Word of God you will feel fulfilled. How are we intending to feed our spirits today?
As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, so whoever feeds on me, he also will live because of me. This is the bread that came down from heaven, not like the bread the fathers ate, and died. Whoever feeds on this bread will live forever." Jesus said these things in the synagogue, as he taught at Capernaum - John 6:57-59 (ESV)

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. - John 1:1-5 (ESV)
