GEN United: Missional Intergenerational Village

This week Pastor Joshua Harris from Every Nation Singapore delivers our message on the themes of mission, intergenerational living, and community. The Bible describes God's command for people to be fruitful, multiply, and rule over the earth through cultivation and protection. However sin caused division and wandering, but God, as the hero, restores what was broken through Jesus Christ, who is the ultimate rescuer and is the bridge for reconciliation with God and with one another. We can be encouraged to live a life of significance by becoming a "bridge" for the next generation, investing in their destiny, and allowing the Holy Spirit to bring about genuine unity.

GEN United - How To Pass The Baton

This week Pastor Neli helps us to reflect on being an intergenerational community. Transferring of the gospel is like a relay race, where the baton is the gospel itself. It’s important to have a teachable spirit, faithful obedience, and proximity in relationships. We can pass the "baton" by setting the pace, running in proximity, and timing the pass with a focus on character over talent. It is just as important to also receive the baton from our own mentors so we can faithfully pass it on to the next generation, helping them to do even greater works.

Show yourself in all respects to be a model of good works, and in your teaching show integrity, dignity, and sound speech that cannot be condemned, so that an opponent may be put to shame, having nothing evil to say about us. - Titus 2:7-8 (ESV)

GEN United - Stretch Marks

This week we are encouraged by Pastor Neli to become an intergenerational community that empowers every generation to live out God's purpose. Are we making room for God, and increasing the capacity for intimacy with Him? We are not to hold back but be obedient to God's assignment, as God is the one who will remove the things that hold you back.

GEN United - Called and Chosen

Love Actually - Family on Mission

This week Pastor Neli reminds us that God designed each of us for deep relationship, both with Him and with one another. Our ability to love others flows from the revelation of God's profound love for us. God is interested in the unseen parts of us - our hearts. Discover how God continually builds us as family, placing us in the body as He desires.

Love Actually - The Phases of Love

This week Pastor encourages us to walk in the way of love, living as children of light, and discerning what pleases the God. An upward relationship with God is key to strengthening all other relationships. Embrace your current season, including singleness, as a purposeful opportunity for growth, service, and building healthy, holy friendships within your community.

And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. - Ephesians 5:2 (ESV)

The King's Wallet - How God Invests

This week, Pastor Neli reminds us where the true treasure lies. The riches of life is found not in earthly possessions but in eternal investments and the wealth of relationships. God's extravagant love and grace reshapes us to live generously, transforming giving from a command to a natural expression of a heart transformed by His grace, ultimately bringing a life of overflow. 

“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. - Matthew 6:19-21 (ESV)

The King's Wallet - How God Gives

This week Pastor Dennis centres his message on generosity and the stewardship of finances. We must understand the nature of God and how He gives.  In doing so we can mirror the nature of Christ in our own approach to wealth. True abundance comes not from a self-serving pursuit of wealth, but from understanding and mirroring God's character as a bountiful giver.  We can trust that God will provide all sufficiency, enabling us to abound in good works and experience the joy of generosity that brings glory and thanksgiving to Him.

The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work. - 2 Corinthians 9:6-15 (ESV)
