Acts - Full to the Max

This week Samantha Thomas encourages us to be "Full to the Max" by the Holy Spirit. The Day of Pentecost changed everything, moving beyond a specific Jewish tradition to include everyone as God’s chosen people. The early church was formed not by perfect individuals, but by ordinary, flawed people - much like us - who were simply willing to pray, obey, and be witnesses for Jesus. You are part of God’s people from Monday through Saturday.  Will you open your heart for a "holy emptying" of yourself so that you may be filled with everything God desires to pour into your life?

When the day of Pentecost arrived, they were all together in one place. And suddenly there came from heaven a sound like a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. And divided tongues as of fire appeared to them and rested on each one of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance. - Acts 2:1-4 (ESV)

Acts - It All Starts Here

This week Pastor Neli helps us to see our own perspective to live out our God-given mission. God has a unique purpose and plan for every person.  We must understand, that mission is not about activity or expertise, but is rooted in our identity in Christ. True mission begins by recognising Jesus as Lord and embracing the call to be His witnesses. So receive the power of the Holy Spirit to honour God and live out His global purpose.

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” - Acts 1:8 (ESV)

The Mission - The Church's Mission

This week Pastor Neli helps us to recognise God has intentionally placed each of us in specific environments and among certain people to fulfil a corporate calling. Our mission is where sowers and reapers thrive together.  We are called to be partners on the ground who proclaim the gospel through love, justice, and mercy. Be challenged to embrace our differences and shine the light of reconciliation, knowing that when God sends us on mission, He always sends us with others and for others.

Do you not say, ‘There are yet four months, then comes the harvest’? Look, I tell you, lift up your eyes, and see that the fields are white for harvest. Already the one who reaps is receiving wages and gathering fruit for eternal life, so that sower and reaper may rejoice together. For here the saying holds true, ‘One sows and another reaps.’ I sent you to reap that for which you did not labor. Others have labored, and you have entered into their labor.” - John 4:35-38 (ESV)

The Mission - The Spirit's Power

This week Pastor Neli explores The Spirit's Power, reminding us that mission is not just a geographical destination but a participation in the very life and presence of the Holy Trinity. As the Father sent Jesus, so Jesus sends each of us, empowering us with the Holy Spirit for the journey ahead. While many face burnout or discouragement, we can find steady confidence in knowing that our sending comes directly from God rather than human authority, and that He is actively working in us - transforming and forming what we need - even as He works through us. 

 

Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you.” And when he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit. - John 20:21-22 (ESV)

The Mission - The Father's Love

This week Pastor Neli and Michael Coe deliver a message together focusing on the depth of the Father's love. God’s love is an active, high-cost pursuit intended for "whoever" believes. God has already provided you everything you need to fulfil His mandate, calling you to abandon your own mission for His. Whether you are in healthcare, the corporate world, or education, you are part of a global and local legacy of faith, sent to see every area of society centred on the kingdom of God.

The Mission - The Son’s Sacrifice

This week Pastor Neli encourages us to look beyond finite New Year’s resolutions and discover God’s greater mission for 2026.  As we navigate the daily "grind" of our work week, we are reminded that we are not merely a collection of lucky molecules but an intentional creation with a divine calling to reflect God's love to those around us. Every day this year is one the Lord has made for you to rejoice in, and as you surrender your mission to His hands, He is ready to pour His love into your spirit and help you gain that which can never be lost.  

Jesus answered, “This voice has come for your sake, not mine. Now is the judgment of this world; now will the ruler of this world be cast out. And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself.” He said this to show by what kind of death he was going to die. - John 12:30-33 (ESV)

God With Us - Stay Ready

This week Samantha Thomas shares the good news of great joy brought by an angel to the lowly shepherds who were keeping watch over their flock by night. Like those shepherds, we are assigned to a certain field, a certain flock - whether that’s our family, friends, or colleagues - and God has placed us there intentionally. Follow the rhythm of the shepherds: first, encounter God and then 'go' and make known what you have heard and seen, building the rhythm of 'coming' to Him and 'going' to tell others.

 

And all who heard it wondered at what the shepherds told them. But Mary treasured up all these things, pondering them in her heart. And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all they had heard and seen, as it had been told them. - Luke 2:18-20 (ESV)

God With Us - When Hope Speaks Again

This week Pastor Neli reminds us that even when you feel "ghosted" or like God is silent, remember that His silence does not mean His absence. He is Emmanuel, God with us at all times, who sustains, heals, and provides the fulfilment and nourishment you need for your spirit, soul, and body. God is always working, even during periods of perceived silence, creating space for His gospel and purposes to advance.  It is in His presence you will find the fullness and breakthrough you are seeking.

And you, child, will be called the prophet of the Most High; for you will go before the Lord to prepare his ways, to give knowledge of salvation to his people in the forgiveness of their sins, because of the tender mercy of our God, whereby the sunrise shall visit us from on high to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.” - Luke 1:76-80 (ESV)

God of All Seasons - Spring: The Stone is Unstuck

This week Pastor Neli helps us to remain hopeful during our “Spring” season. Trust God's hand in transitions, release the old patterns to sprout new fruit, and respond to Jesus' voice by saying yes to your calling again, knowing that your past failure does not define you, as restoration is a gift.

God of All Seasons - Winter: The Quiet Storm

This week Pastor Neli helps us to focus on navigating life's spiritual winter. Even when the season feels slow, like a winter where growth isn't visible above the surface, there is deep and vital root work happening below in preparation for the weight of future fruitfulness. Try practising stillness and commit your way to the Lord, trusting in Him. Do not retreat into isolation or try to force fruitfulness - instead, stand still, let your waiting become worship, and focus on God’s character in this period of preparation.
