The Fight Of Our Lives - No Grease In My Grace
Monday May 25, 2020
Monday May 25, 2020
Join us as we continue with our current series, The Fight of Our Lives. This week Pastor Neli helps us to avoid false teaching when faced with surrounding pressures. We mustn't let the grace of God be watered down. Don’t let the message of the Gospel be cheapened in order for us to widen the scope of what it means to live righteously.
For certain people have crept in unnoticed who long ago were designated for this condemnation, ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into sensuality and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ. - Jude 1:4 (ESV)

Monday May 18, 2020
Monday May 18, 2020
Join us online as we start our new series, Fight Of Our Lives. This week Pastor Neli teaches us how to use the word of God to come against the tactics of the enemy. We must know how to delve into the word of God and to know the word of God and understand His mercy. What or who do you trust for love, peace, and mercy?
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will hope in him.” - Lamentations 3:22-24 (ESV)

The Antidote - Agent of Adoption
Monday May 11, 2020
Monday May 11, 2020
Join us online as we continue our current series, The Antidote. We have been adopted into the family of Jesus Christ through the love of The Father. There is an inheritance of every spiritual blessing in Christ. God’s mark is on us because the Holy Spirit is in us, that’s our inheritance.
For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves. - Ephesians 1:4-6 (NIV)

The Antidote - Won By One
Monday May 04, 2020
Monday May 04, 2020
Join us online as we continue our current series, The Antidote. This week Pastor Neli poses the question, "What does victory look like to you?" God looks at victory in a very different way than us as humans would look at victory. Some circumstances we are faced with may look like a defeat but Jesus knows what it’s like to experience pain and anguish. He also knows in the midst of all of this it is still prevalent that we are in the will of God, victorious.
“Death is swallowed up in victory."
“O death, where is your victory?
O death, where is your sting?”
The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

The Antidote - Redemption Song
Monday Apr 27, 2020
Monday Apr 27, 2020
Join us on Facebook Live as we continue our current series, The Antidote. This week Pastor Neli talks about the sowing and reaping parable and how we might benefit in our lives. The reason God wants you to be blessed is that He wants you to multiply that blessing towards others. Don’t let the worries and the cares of this world strangle out the word of God. Create environments within your home, and workplace, and situations to ensure the seed of God’s word continues to grow within your lives.
For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's offspring, heirs according to promise. - Galatians 3:27-29 (ESV)

The Antidote - For All, For All
Monday Apr 20, 2020
Monday Apr 20, 2020
Join us online as we continue our current series, The Antidote. This week Pastor Neli talks about how Jesus Christ has changed us once and for all and has changed us for everyone (for all). Jesus is alive and should affect the way we live now. It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. God’s grace enables us to live out our lives in this freedom.
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation - 2 Corinthians 5:17-18 (ESV)

The Antidote - Out Of It
Monday Apr 13, 2020
Monday Apr 13, 2020
Join us online for a special Resurrection Sunday service. Pastor Neli reflects on a logical perspective in looking at Jesus and his resurrection. Without the resurrection of Jesus, we’d still be in a place of emptiness. It's the power of his resurrection and his Holy Spirit that will transform our lives.
Now if Christ is proclaimed as raised from the dead, how can some of you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised. - 1 Corinthians 15:12-13 (ESV)

The Antidote - Scarred Promises
Saturday Apr 11, 2020
Saturday Apr 11, 2020
Join us for a special Good Friday online service. Pastor Neli helps us to reflect on the kind of pain Jesus endured leading up to his death. Jesus knows what it’s like to have and experience ultimate pain. We should not only be reminded of the physical pain Jesus endured but of the sacrifice, Jesus made for us. The ultimate sacrifice and price were paid so that we are now free by his grace.
Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured from sinners such hostility against himself, so that you may not grow weary or fainthearted. - Hebrews 12:1-3 (ESV)

The Antidote - Riding Low
Monday Apr 06, 2020
Monday Apr 06, 2020
Join us online as we continue our new series, The Antidote. This week Pastor Neli speaks to us about the significance of Jesus riding into Jerusalem on a donkey. Recognition of Jesus Christ and his Kingship comes in our most broken state and understanding that we need to repent. When we cry out Hosanna, we are acknowledging Jesus is our promised saviour and that He is the only one who can save us.
And they brought the colt to Jesus and threw their cloaks on it, and he sat on it. And many spread their cloaks on the road, and others spread leafy branches that they had cut from the fields. And those who went before and those who followed were shouting, “Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Blessed is the coming kingdom of our father David! Hosanna in the highest!” - Mark 11:7-10 (ESV)

The Antidote - Cross and Crown
Monday Mar 30, 2020
Monday Mar 30, 2020
Join us via Facebook Live as we start our new series, The Antidote. This week Pastor Neli makes reference to the Cross and Crown. When there is turmoil people tend to grip onto anything to give them hope. It’s one thing to say Jesus is worthy of our trust but it’s another thing to say, "I need to trust him". Jesus is fully God, all-powerful, all-knowing, knows suffering and depression as well as extreme anxiety. This is the God we can trust in to be our antidote for our spirit during this time
And the high priest stood up in the midst and asked Jesus, “Have you no answer to make? What is it that these men testify against you?” But he remained silent and made no answer. Again the high priest asked him, “Are you the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?” And Jesus said, “I am, and you will see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of Power, and coming with the clouds of heaven.” And the high priest tore his garments and said, “What further witnesses do we need? - Mark 14:60-63 (ESV)
