Into The Horizon - Last Words First Importance
Monday Apr 08, 2019
Monday Apr 08, 2019
Join us as we continue our current series, Into The Horizon. Pastor Neli discusses certain traits of a disciple as we follow scripture from the Book of Matthew. There will be times when you will walk as a disciple of Christ but you won’t necessarily walk in great faith. However, God has desired us to be disciples and to go and make disciples of all nations. Do you proclaim the word of God wherever you're sent?
These twelve Jesus sent out, instructing them, “Go nowhere among the Gentiles and enter no town of the Samaritans, but go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. And proclaim as you go, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’

Into The Horizon - The Fishing Trip
Monday Apr 01, 2019
Monday Apr 01, 2019
Join us as we continue our series, Into The Horizon. This week Pastor Neli talks to us about Jesus' design for discipleship and how He calls his disciples into relationship. To be a disciple of Christ we need to follow Jesus, fish for the lost, and fellowship with God’s people. If Jesus was to call you to follow him, in the same way, he called these disciples, do you think you’d be able to drop everything and go?
And he said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” Immediately they left their nets and followed him.

Into The Horizon - Do It To The Least Of These
Monday Mar 25, 2019
Monday Mar 25, 2019
Join us as we continue our series, Into The Horizon. Henry continues our discussion on outreach by highlighting social responsibility. Are you looking for opportunities to serve Christ through other people? How do you check your vision for how God wants you to see people? You could be the very solution God has provided for someone else.
Then they also will answer, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to you?’ Then he will answer them, saying, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to me.’

Into The Horizon - Meet You In The Ugly
Monday Mar 18, 2019
Monday Mar 18, 2019
Join us as we continue our series, Into The Horizon. This week Pastor Neli talks about our church value of Outreach. God has called us beyond ourselves to reach out with the love of Christ. We need to start thinking of outreach in terms of being compassionate, evangelistic, and missional. Don't be afraid of the ugly mess some people may be comfortable in. Meet this generation in the middle of their ugly and see them resurrected in the power and authority of what God has done.
Fear seized them all, and they glorified God, saying, “A great prophet has arisen among us!” and “God has visited his people!” And this report about him spread through the whole of Judea and all the surrounding country.

Into The Horizon - How To Be a Worship Leader
Monday Mar 11, 2019
Monday Mar 11, 2019
Join us as we continue our current series, Into The Horizon. This week Pastor Neli talks to us about how to become a worship leader. It's more than just music. Whether in school or at work, as a follower of Jesus, you are called to be a worship leader. Use the tools God has given you to create environments where people can encounter the presence of God and are changed.
I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship

Into The Horizon - Dive In
Monday Mar 04, 2019
Monday Mar 04, 2019
Join us today as we begin a new series titled, Into The Horizon. This week is all about our attitude towards Worship. Our response to God is always driven by the depth of our revelation of who he is. The deeper our revelation of who he is, the deeper our worship will be. We give God our best worship when we worship him with our character. Have you dived in? Have you thrown your whole self into a lifestyle of worship?
Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways! “For who has known the mind of the Lord, or who has been his counselor?” “Or who has given a gift to him that he might be repaid?”For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen.

Great Faith - Running On Empty
Monday Feb 25, 2019
Monday Feb 25, 2019
Join us as we conclude our Great Faith series. This week Pastor Neli talks about running on empty. Not in the sense of a car running without fuel but us running in our lane without anything inhibiting our run. We all have a race to run but how well does our objective line up with God’s objective for our life? What kind of things cling to you while you run? Jesus had finished his race and he will help you finish yours.
Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Great Faith - The Leftovers
Sunday Feb 17, 2019
Sunday Feb 17, 2019
Join us as we continue with another great message in our Great Faith series. Pastor Neli this week talks about our recognition and whether we are seeking that from man or from God. In God we have that fulfillment, we have that satisfaction. Should we recognize the length of time we spend with God? Let's not be distracted to the point that we run after the world rather than after God and the race He has marked out for us.
And what more shall I say? For time would fail me to tell of Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, of David and Samuel and the prophets—who through faith conquered kingdoms, enforced justice, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, quenched the power of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, were made strong out of weakness, became mighty in war, put foreign armies to flight.

Great Faith - Stand Out
Monday Feb 11, 2019
Monday Feb 11, 2019
Join us today as we continue our Great Faith series. Pastor Neli talks about the great faith of Moses and how he responded in an environment of turmoil. There will come a time where you will reach a fork in the road and understand you can either choose to follow God with everything that you have or you choose to follow after what this world has to offer. When the pressure is on do you trust in God or do you trust in the world-system? You need to leave behind that which could take your attention from God. For Moses, that was Egypt. What is your Egypt today?
By faith Moses, when he was grown up, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter, choosing rather to be mistreated with the people of God than to enjoy the fleeting pleasures of sin. He considered the reproach of Christ greater wealth than the treasures of Egypt, for he was looking to the reward. By faith he left Egypt, not being afraid of the anger of the king, for he endured as seeing him who is invisible.

Great Faith - Built up or build ups?
Monday Feb 04, 2019
Monday Feb 04, 2019
Join us as we continue with our Great Faith series. This week Pastor Neli compares our motives. Are we cultivating an environment of faithfulness for others or are we building up expectations just to let them down? There may have been expectations that you’ve had but you come across situations of disappointment. Like Abraham, we are far from perfect. God entrusts great purpose to imperfect people. What do you trust when the pressure is on?
That is why it depends on faith, in order that the promise may rest on grace and be guaranteed to all his offspring—not only to the adherent of the law but also to the one who shares the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all, as it is written, “I have made you the father of many nations”—in the presence of the God in whom he believed, who gives life to the dead and calls into existence the things that do not exist.
- Romans 4:16-17 (ESV)
