Into The Horizon - Dive In

Join us today as we begin a new series titled, Into The Horizon. This week is all about our attitude towards Worship. Our response to God is always driven by the depth of our revelation of who he is. The deeper our revelation of who he is, the deeper our worship will be. We give God our best worship when we worship him with our character. Have you dived in? Have you thrown your whole self into a lifestyle of worship?

Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! Great Faith - Running On Empty

Not in the sense of a car running without fuel but us running in our lane without anything inhibiting our run. We all have a race to run but how well does our objective line up with God’s objective for our life? What kind of things cling to you while you run? Great Faith - Stand Out

Join us today as we continue our Great Faith series. Pastor Neli talks about the great faith of Moses and how he responded in an environment of turmoil. There will come a time where you will reach a fork in the road and understand you can either choose to follow God with everything that you have or you choose to follow after what this world has to offer. When the pressure is on do you trust in God or do you trust in the world-system? You need to leave behind that which could take your attention from God. For Moses, that was Egypt. What is your Egypt today?

By faith Moses, when he was grown up, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter, choosing rather to be mistreated with the people of God than to enjoy the fleeting pleasures of sin. He considered the reproach of Christ greater wealth than the treasures of Egypt, for he was looking to the reward. By faith he left Egypt, not being afraid of the anger of the king, for he endured as seeing him who is invisible.

Great Faith - Built up or build ups?

Are we cultivating an environment of faithfulness for others or are we building up expectations just to let them down? There may have been expectations that you’ve had but you come across situations of disappointment. Like Abraham, we are far from perfect. God entrusts great purpose to imperfect people. What do you trust when the pressure is on?

That is why it depends on faith, in order that the promise may rest on grace and be guaranteed to all his offspring—not only to the adherent of the law but also to the one who shares the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all, as it is written, “I have made you the father of many nations”—in the presence of the God in whom he believed, who gives life to the dead and calls into existence the things that do not exist.

Great Faith - Make It Rain

Noah faced great challenges, but he also had great faith in hearing and trusting God. Great Faith - You Are Here

Have you created an environment in faith to enjoy God in everything you do? Faith needs an environment for it to be cultivated.  An environment of faith is stirred up in praise. God hates it when we shrink back but loves those who have faith. God responds to faith. How do you create an environment of faith?

Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. For by it the people of old received their commendation. By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible.

Great Faith - No Shrink Back

Join us as we continue with our Great Faith series. This week Pastor Neli draws examples from the past and reflects on the Book of Hebrews when he teaches us to not shrink back. The former days are nothing compared to where God has you. A lot of the ways we live right now are based on the decisions we have made. Some of the hardships we experience are consequences of the decisions we have made. Make the right decisions based on your circumstances in order to glorify God. Don’t shrink back but instead believe in God’s promises

For, “Yet a little while, and the coming one will come and will not delay; but my righteous one shall live by faith, and if he shrinks back, my soul has no pleasure in him.” But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who have faith and preserve their souls.

Pastor Neli talks about how we can start the year on the right foundations by first asking the questions, “Where are we?” and “Where is God?”If we are going to be vessels of great faith we need to be comfortable in the hands of our God who stretches us, and molds us, and sculpts us into the shape of things to come. Will you choose to follow God no matter where His word directs you. Trust in the lord.
