Called Out - The Audience Of One

Continuing with our Called Out series is "The Audience Of One". Pastor Neli talks through the Book of Acts and compares us to the character of Stephen. God is looking for a generation like Stephen who understands that we don't live to please other people but instead live for the audience of one. Can we honestly say we live for the audience of one or are we so overly concerned about what people think about us that we hesitate to take a step forward in what God has called us to do or who he has called us to become?

Called Out - The Prototype

Continuing with our Called Out series, Pastor Neli sets a comparison with John and Peter as prototypes for boldness. How do we stand when it comes to situations we are uncomfortable with? Are we like John and Peter? When God shows up in your life it may leave you speechless but remember to obey God no matter the circumstances.

Called Out - Church In The Wild

But when the Gospel is preached accurately it demands a response. What is our response to the Gospel or have our ears been dulled from overhearing the Gospel? Be devoted to what Christ is teaching us and let's not follow after the world but instead follow after Christ.

Called Out - There's A Fire Upstairs

We continue our series "Called Out" with the Book of Acts chapter 2. Pastor Neli compares the power of the Holy Spirit to fire as it refines, heats and spreads. We need the power of the Holy Spirit to empower God's purpose. God is looking for a certain person in this generation who is not ashamed of the Gospel. Do you want that sort of power in your life?

Called Out - Exit Strategy

We start our new series "Called Out" with this week about creating an Exit Strategy. Having an exit strategy is something which is important to learn especially for those who want to lead effectively in their sphere of influence. We must learn to leave something in a better situation than when we started and exit with a blessing in mind for the future generation. How we respond to God determines how we exit. What are we doing with what God has given to us so that we can exit knowing we have done what God has called us to do?

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.

Confidence In The Caller

We welcome our special guest speaker Pastor Ken Johnston from Every Nation Melbourne to bring our message today with "Confidence in the Caller". Where do we draw our confidence from? Are the things we go through in our lives part of God's gracious action to us that he will start to take away the things that we have falsely put our confidence in? Like Moses, God wants us to put our confidence in Him so He can do great things in us and through us.

So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.

Pastor Neli brings our message today from the Book of Philippians. PRESS. There are times we feel under pressure but God's word reminds us to press forward. When the enemy puts pressure on us, press back because the worth of knowing The Lord is worth a lot more than anything else. We must learn to put pressure on the pressure that's being put on us by living a life out loud for Jesus. Whatever comes our way are opportunities to give glory to God.

Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own.

Pastor Neli takes the world's view of a guardian and compares with the biblical view of a guardian. When we are guarding something we don't just guard it with our mouth or our mind, we guard it with everything we have. God wants us to take His word as holding so much value that it's worth guarding. What we say and how we live flows out of what we have stored in the safety of our hearts.
