Called Out - Toll Call

Everyone who calls themselves a son or daughter of God has a calling to ministry but what does that calling look like. Join us as we continue our Called Out series with this week about the calling of Saul and Paul. Every call has people in mind and we are called to bring people to Jesus. If you know your call, have you responded yet?

And when Paul had seen the vision, immediately we sought to go on into Macedonia, concluding that God had called us to preach the gospel to them.

Called Out - Sticks and Stones

Join us as we continue our Called Out series. Pastor Neli compares the old children's rhyme to our response to praise and persecution. You can trust a person's character by how they handle praise and persecution. Our character is reflected as a part of our Christianity which people don't see. We must be intentional about our Christianity and worship God with our character, not our gifting.

When they had preached the gospel to that city and had made many disciples, they returned to Lystra and to Iconium and to Antioch, strengthening the souls of the disciples, encouraging them to continue in the faith, and saying that through many tribulations we must enter the kingdom of God.

Called Out - We Don't Die We Multiply

Week 13 of our Called Out series and this week Pastor Neli prepares us for our eulogy and what would be said. What will we die for? How do we want to be remembered? What becomes our eulogy is determined by how we are living our life now but how should we live out our lives to the glory of God? Is what we are doing now setting us up for what really matters to God?

Called Out - We Have Good News

Associate Pastor of Bethel Dallas and planter of Every Nation Brisbane, special guest Pastor Ken Dew continues our Called Out series. We have been called out to go to the culture to engage it with the good news (Gospel). We are not responsible for how God gets the Gospel out to the world but we are responsible for the message we preach and the way in which we preach it. When the truth is presented to the lost the Gospel is revealed. If we never give them the gospel we'll never give them the truth.

For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation.

Called Out - Eat In or Take Out

​Pastor Neli continues with our Called Out series with this week being about Peter and Cornelius. God wants us to rise and stand up but stand for righteousness. He wants us to go down, humbling ourselves and get amongst those who are not like us. There is a beauty that God wants to bring out of us where we go beyond our ethnicity and class and language to worship God. How many of us are willing and ready today to rise in the faith that God has for us and to go down?

Rise and go down and accompany them without hesitation, for I have sent them.” And Peter went down to the men and said, “I am the one you are looking for. What is the reason for your coming?”

Called Out - Eye Drops and Hooligans

Week 8 in our Called Out series and this time Pastor Neli talks about Saul/Paul from the Book of Acts. Like Saul, God wants us to rise and enter into his presence but are we living a life too comfortable? God has a specific lane he wants us to run in but sometimes we don't like the prodding of the Holy Spirit as he tries to shape us into the character that's required for the destiny that he has for us. God wants us to come out of a place of discomfort and move towards him.

But the Lord said to him, “Go, for he is a chosen instrument of mine to carry my name before the Gentiles and kings and the children of Israel. For I will show him how much he must suffer for the sake of my name.”

Called Out - The Transporter

Join us for week 7 of our Called Out Series.  Pastor Neli continues through the Book of Acts as we talk about the evangelism work of Paul.  An evangelist is a person who "transports" the good news (Gospel).  God has called us to be transporters of the good news.  We must go with the one who gave us the instructions so we're not hesitant to go at all.  Let us take responsibility for our walk with Jesus as we seek opportunities to engage with every person we encounter.

Then Philip opened his mouth, and beginning with this Scripture he told him the good news about Jesus.

Called Out - The Audience Of One

Continuing with our Called Out series is "The Audience Of One". Pastor Neli talks through the Book of Acts and compares us to the character of Stephen. God is looking for a generation like Stephen who understands that we don't live to please other people but instead live for the audience of one. Can we honestly say we live for the audience of one or are we so overly concerned about what people think about us that we hesitate to take a step forward in what God has called us to do or who he has called us to become?

Called Out - The Prototype

Continuing with our Called Out series, Pastor Neli sets a comparison with John and Peter as prototypes for boldness. How do we stand when it comes to situations we are uncomfortable with? Are we like John and Peter? When God shows up in your life it may leave you speechless but remember to obey God no matter the circumstances.

Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated, common men, they were astonished. And they recognized that they had been with Jesus.

Called Out - The Bold And The Beautiful

We are continuing our series "Called Out". This week Pastor Neli speaks from the Book of Acts Chapter 3 and compares our attitude and behaviour to the lame man by the gate. God wants us to be empowered to walk out in the destiny he has planned for us but is our heart leaping for God? Do others see the praise of God in our lives?

And he took him by the right hand and raised him up, and immediately his feet and ankles were made strong. And leaping up, he stood and began to walk, and entered the temple with them, walking and leaping and praising God.
