Advance - Backward Forward Toward Upward

Pastor Neli starts our new series - Advance.  Like a crash of Rhino's stampeding towards a target, so too should we be fixed on God.  If we're chasing after anything, chase after God or else we're chasing after things which are worthless and insignificant.  Let us strain forward to recognize the difference between choosing God and chasing God.  Remember - God chose us, we chase Him.

I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

From Here To There - Who Got Next?

Continuing our series From Here To There Pastor Neli talks to us about the past, present and future generations and how important it is to ensure we are leaving behind something our children and the next generation can carry on for us.  If we want to successfully transfer something from this generation to the next generation we need to start by looking at what we are depositing into their lives.

Nevertheless, I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you.

When we use the gifts God has given us to serve others, the greater God will exalt us.

From Here To There - The Journey Of Light

Special guest Pastor Sam Webb speaks to us about the Journey of Light, continuing our series From Here to There.  Pastor Sam breaks it down into the Light of Illumination, God's word and His direction for our lives.  There are times when we might struggle with life's obstacles or difficulties but once we welcome God into our life a "light" can come on inside of us and we get to experience the relationship He wanted with us all along.

From Here To There - Discipleship Culture

Pastor Timothy Loh joins us from Every Nation Malaysia church to continue our series called From Here to There.  Discipleship is culture.  Once you build that culture, it builds you back. We should be living out The Great Commission through everything we learn from the sermon on the mount.  The tipping point of The Great Commission is ownership.  So what are we doing?  Where are we going?  Have we taken ownership today? 

Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

Senior pastor of Every Nation Church Singapore, Larry Matsuwaki blessed us in our series called From Here to There, speaking about having a new boldness.  Bold confidence is based on relationship.  The more time we spend with Jesus the more confidence we have in him.  When we have God's confidence we can do great and mighty things for The Lord

From Here To There - Campus Ministry

Every Nation Brisbane Campus Minister Roisin Welsh shares the importance of ministering on campus and how big an impact it truly has to those who don't know or question the existence of God. Campus ministry together with discipleship is what makes up the DNA of Every Nation Brisbane.  We see the youth of our nation with high importance as they are the ones who will shape our nation.  So who will be responsible for the now and next generation?

For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!”

From Here To There - Two Words Five Days

This is the second week in our series From Here to There.  On this Easter Sunday, Pastor Neli clarifies what happened in the five days leading up to the crucifixion of Jesus and the importance of the two words Hosanna and Tetelestai.  Jesus came to bring peace.  His people may have cried out "save us now" but through Jesus actions on the cross, it was finished once and for all.

So they took branches of palm trees and went out to meet him, crying out, “Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord, even the King of Israel!”

From Here To There - The Good The Bad The Nothing

We're off a new series entitled, From Here To There (Discipleship on purpose).  Pastor Neli describes how we should bear fruit by comparing our relationship with God to the relationship with others.  We can all bear good fruit (Galatians5:22,23) but we must have the correct foundational root because here is no fruitfulness without His presence.  When we are connected to him in the unseen we start bearing fruit with a purpose, for the consumptions of others so that they may taste and see that the Lord is good and flowing through our lives.

So, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit. A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus you will recognize them by their fruits.

Life changing mentors

We are privileged to have guest speaker Senior Pastor Joe Onosa'i leading our service today from Destiny Christian Church in Hawaii.  Pastor Joe tells us some of his life stories but more importantly were the statements from the people (mentors) that changed his life.
