All In- In The Zone

Our All In series continues with In The Zone.  This week Pastor Neli speaks about Worship and asks us to search within ourselves to identify our true worship. Worship is not just a slow song you sing in a Sunday church service.  It is life. A worshiper will glorify, sacrifice and submit to that which he worships.  Does God take a place of worship in your life?

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.

We continue our series All In as Pastor Neli discusses real relationships.  Relationships not just with our close friends and family but with one another, with those who we might find it more difficult to love as well as our relationship with God.  God wants to restore certain qualities in our life in order to have a real relationship with Him.

All In - By Hook Or By Crook?

Starting a new series this week called "ALL IN".  When someone is all in, it means that are all the way in terms of value.  Pastor Neli compares the values of Jesus with that of the church and ultimately asks where our values are.  Jesus values true worshipers, the lost, multi-generational growth, and Christ builds through family.

For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.

Strengthen Then Net - A Frayed Knot? Afraid? Not!

Pastor Neli continues our series on Strengthening The Net.  God is calling our church to catch fish and to walk together with one another.  God is strengthening our net so that we will not be a cord that frays and breaks.  There is a promise that if we adhere to we will not fall.  One way to avoid falling is to preach the gospel to ourselves every day.

One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to inquire in his temple.

Strengthen The Net - Mend Bend and Send

Pastor Neli continues our series this week with "Mend Bend and Send". When we compare our church to a fisherman's net, we sometimes forget the method and purpose the net has.  Keep this in mind as we answer God's call.  God will gather us to mend us.  He'll then bend us so that we will learn to walk with one another.  Then God will cast the net He has built and send us to where the fish need to be caught most.

Passing alongside the Sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and Andrew the brother of Simon casting a net into the sea, for they were fishermen. And Jesus said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you become fishers of men.” And immediately they left their nets and followed him.

Strengthen The Net - The Wedding at Garden City

Pastor Neli ties together the beginning and ending of the Bile by reminding us about the connections between the tree, wedding and grace of God.  We are called to be the bride of the church and to have an intimate relationship with God.

Strengthen The Net - Thick and Fast

Pastor Neli delivers a great message to continue with our Strengthen the Net series called, Thick and Fast.  A great message to compliment our 21day fast.  We thicken our strand to make it unbreakable.  In the process of catching fish and growing in ministry, we are not broken easily.  Part of the way we strengthen the strand that we are is through prayer and fasting.  We cannot seek God on the surface.  We need to desperately pursue Him.  Are you hungry for the presence of God?  Dare to Believe.

"Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen:

to loose the chains of injustice

and untie the cords of the yoke,

to set the oppressed free

and break every yoke?"

Strengthen The Net

Pastor Neli compares the church to a net that is strengthened. There are similarities to the strands and joining of a fisherman's net to that of the people that make up the body of Christ and the relationship we hold with each other. The greatest nets in the spirit has an eternal focus so how much of our time is spent on eternal things?

"So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal"

Past Forward

In today's message, Norman Asaua refers to the book of Philippians when comparing our actions in the past to that of the future.  It is the remembrance of the past that prevents you from moving forward so let us not reflect on the past, but press on and move forward to what lies ahead of us, Christ Jesus.

Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

Spot The Star

The children and youth of Every Nation Brisbane perform their Christmas production based on Max Lucado's "I am Special" called Spot The Star.  Continuing on with Pastor Neli who speaks of the three wise men who spotted the star in the west which lead them to the birth of Jesus Christ.
