This week, special guest Bishop Manny emphasises the significance of actively stepping out of comfort zones, showcasing the transformative power of proactively sharing the gospel beyond familiar boundaries. Christianity transforms into an engaging adventure as you actively perceive limitations as God's orchestration. Actively reflect on how God is working in your life.
News of this reached the church in Jerusalem, and they sent Barnabas to Antioch. When he arrived and saw what the grace of God had done, he was glad and encouraged them all to remain true to the Lord with all their hearts. He was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and faith, and a great number of people were brought to the Lord. Then Barnabas went to Tarsus to look for Saul, and when he found him, he brought him to Antioch. So for a whole year Barnabas and Saul met with the church and taught great numbers of people. The disciples were called Christians first at Antioch. - Acts 11:22-26 (NIV)

Sunday Nov 12, 2023
Sunday Nov 12, 2023
Join us as we commence a new series, GO. This week Pastor Neli explores the biblical narrative of people settling in Shinar and building a city and tower to make a name for themselves. The key contrast is drawn between constructing self-glorifying monuments and God's desire for Spirit-empowered movements. Be cautioned against being individuals who talk without substance but instead be encouraged to plan for the future and allow God to shape those plans according to His will. Focus on Spirit-empowered movements rather than creating monuments of personal achievement.
And the Lord said, “Behold, they are one people, and they have all one language, and this is only the beginning of what they will do. And nothing that they propose to do will now be impossible for them. Come, let us go down and there confuse their language, so that they may not understand one another's speech.” So the Lord dispersed them from there over the face of all the earth, and they left off building the city. - Genesis 11:6-8 (ESV)
