Join us in Brisbane Central as we commence our new series, How To Make. This week Pastor Neli emphasises God’s divine purpose of work and creativity in our lives. Everyone is a worshipper of something or someone based on what they are willing to sacrifice. Our lives should be living sacrifices, and the renewal of our minds is tied to what we worship. When you understand your divine purpose in work and worship, not allowing culture to dictate our lives, you begin to focus on what truly matters for eternity.  Be encouraged you can align your life with God's purpose. What has God given you to create and cultivate?

Now out of the ground the Lord God had formed every beast of the field and every bird of the heavens and brought them to the man to see what he would call them. And whatever the man called every living creature, that was its name. The man gave names to all livestock and to the birds of the heavens and to every beast of the field. Transformers - Philip: Embracing Devine Appointments

Transformers - Peter: From Angry Angler to Gamechanger

One Anothering - Reimagining Singleness

You can move beyond the idea that marriage guarantees happiness and fulfilment. We should shift our focus towards prioritising the Kingdom of God and righteousness,  as not everyone is destined for marriage.  You can embrace singleness as a valid and meaningful path. Are you fulfilled in Christ and are earnestly seeking Him in what season you are in? 

I want you to be free from anxieties. The unmarried man is anxious about the things of the Lord, how to please the Lord. But the married man is anxious about worldly things, how to please his wife, and his interests are divided. And the unmarried or betrothed woman is anxious about the things of the Lord, how to be holy in body and spirit.
